Photograph Description

Discovered 2002 by Kaoru Ikeya and Daqing Zhang.

This comet has already made its trip around the sun and if you look at the image that was taken on 3/16/02, it is a lot dimmer than it was on that date. Notice the difference in the distance the comet is from the sun in both images.
